This 3-day adventure blends the best of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains with the charm of Berber villages and the magic of the Agafay Desert. Starting in Imlil Valley, you’ll trek through scenic mountain passes, discover the traditional village of Armed, and visit the spiritual shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. Along the way, enjoy authentic Berber hospitality, traditional meals, and even the option of a hammam and massage. The journey ends with a unique desert experience on the Kik Plateau and in the rocky Agafay Desert, where you can choose between camel riding, quad biking, or simply relaxing with mint tea under the wide desert skies. A perfect mix of trekking, culture, and adventure for those who want to experience Morocco’s diversity in just three days.

ITINERARY

• 01 Marrakech – Imlil Valley – Tizi Mzik – Armed Village (2000m)

  Depart Marrakech towards the Atlas Mountains, passing Tahnouate, Moulay Brahim Gorges, and Asni before reaching Agersioual (1h20 drive). Begin your trek at 1600m, climbing to the Tizi Mzik Pass (2400m) for spectacular views over Imlil, Azzaden Valley, and Oukaimden ski resort. Lunch is served in a peaceful natural setting. In the afternoon, descend to the charming Armed village (2000m), the highest village in Imlil Valley. Overnight in a Berber house with traditional tea and cake. (4–5 hours trek)

• 02 Armed Village – Sidi Chamharouch Shrine – Armed

  After breakfast, trek through juniper forests and follow the Toubkal Valley trail to the spiritual shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, set beside a mountain stream. Enjoy lunch by the river before returning to Armed village. In the evening, savor tea with crêpes, honey, and jam. Optional hammam and massage available for full relaxation. Overnight in a Berber guesthouse. (5–6 hours trek)

• 03 Imlil Valley – Kik Plateau – Agafay Desert – Marrakech

  Start with a gentle walk through Imlil Valley, passing waterfalls and terraced gardens. Lunch is served under walnut trees. Transfer to the scenic Kik Plateau, then continue to Agafay Desert via Agergour paragliding spot. Here you can choose between a camel ride or a thrilling quad adventure—or both. Relax with mint tea in the desert before returning to Marrakech in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech or optional overnight in the Agafay Desert. (3 hours trek + transfer)
