ITINERARY

  • 01 Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Azzaden Valley

    Depart Marrakech and drive through Tahnouate, Moulay Brahim Gorges, and Asni to reach Agersioual (1600m, 1h30 drive). Begin trekking up to Tizi Ouded Pass (2000m), with magnificent views over the Azzaden Valley and the Oukaimden ski area. Lunch is served in a peaceful natural setting before descending to Tizi Oussem (1850m). Overnight in a Berber guesthouse. (6 hours trek)

  • 02 Tizi Oussem – Tizi Mzik – Armed Village

    Today’s trek takes you through Toubkal National Park, with a stop at the highest waterfalls in the region (2300m). Continue to Mzik Pass (2468m), offering panoramic views of the Ait Mizan and Azzaden valleys. After lunch in Mzzik, hike to Armed, the largest village in Imlil Valley, where you’ll spend the night. (7 hours trek)

  • 03 Armed Village – Sidi Chamharouch – Armed

    Set out on a gentle trek toward the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, a sacred site at the foot of the Toubkal massif. The trail leads through alpine pastures where goats and mules graze, with spectacular views of Toubkal and surrounding peaks. Continue through pine forests, waterfalls, and cultivated terraces before returning to Armed. Overnight in a Berber house. (5 hours trek)

  • 04 Exploring Imlil Valley – Gardens – Market – Waterfalls

    After breakfast, enjoy a scenic walk through Imlil Valley. Discover waterfalls, mountain streams, terraced gardens, and lively Berber villages. Explore the weekly market (if day coincides), a vibrant hub for locals and the starting point of many treks. Lunch will be served under walnut trees in the valley. Transfer back to Marrakech in the afternoon. Optional camel ride in Agafay Desert before arrival. (4 hours trek + transfer)
