Embark on a 3-day trek through the heart of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains. Starting from the charming village of Imi Oughlad, you’ll hike across lush valleys, juniper forests, and traditional Berber villages. ITINERARY

• 01 Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Tinzert

  After breakfast in Marrakech, you’ll be transferred to Imi Oughlad (1,450m) in the Imlil Valley, passing through Tahanaout, Moulay Brahim Gorges, and Asni. Here you’ll meet your Berber guide, muleteers, and cook before starting the trek. The walk begins through a beautiful juniper forest with colorful scenery. Picnic lunch in the open air, then continue exploring the flora, fauna, and stunning views of the High Atlas. Overnight in a Berber guesthouse in Tinzert. ⏱️ 4 hours walking.

• 02 Tinzert – Azzaden Valley – Id Aissa

  Today’s hike takes you deeper into the High Atlas. Walk through breathtaking mountain landscapes with views of Toubkal’s peaks (above 4,000m). Lunch by the river under walnut trees, then follow the trail through Berber villages with their traditional architecture and terraced fields. Experience authentic local life and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Azzaden Valley. Overnight in Id Aissa village in a traditional guesthouse. ⏱️ 6 hours walking.

• 03 Id Aissa – Tizi Oussem – Tizi n’Mzik – Imlil – Marrakech

  In the morning, continue towards Tizi Oussem and discover Tamsoult, a summer village used by local shepherds. The trail climbs through juniper forests of Toubkal National Park up to Tizi n’Mzik Pass (2,489m). From here, enjoy panoramic views over the Imlil Valley. After lunch, descend to Imlil, where your driver will be waiting for the transfer back to Marrakech. ⏱️ 5–6 hours walking.
